About Me

A passion for art, and a talent for producing funky clothing and household products using my own artistic designs.

I left art college early for work purposes, but after working abroad and in London for many years, I had a strong pull to tap into my creative leanings again, producing many paintings especially after we moved to wonderful Corby, East Midlands where artists are nurtured and encouraged.   Recently I have enjoyed spending hours creating online clothing and decor from my original art.

2,000+ products are for sale direct online at Redbubble.com (search for me) and manufactured in the U.S or Australia.  https://www.redbubble.com/shop/studioartist%20marina?search_type=search_box.  I will earn commission on your purchase.

For variety of styles I also use Hong Kong manufacturers and one offs of this range are for sale at my studio shop at The Rooftop and occasional Pop Up Shops.

My studio shop at The Rooftop is always available for browsing and the lovely staff will always help. Or email me at studioartist@outlook.com.

My Medium

I like acrylics, and love to create fast impasto abstracts onto canvas.  I also love oils for their creamy consistency.  Linocuts have produced some of my best prints and later transferred into surprising patterns on apparel.   I love iPad art and creating weird and wonderful patterns with mirroring apps, these patterns have produced some of my most successful and popular clothing.

My Inspiration

In daily life I am inspired by my husband Steve who encourages and supports me.   Everyone who has ever purchased my  dresses or paintings has had a positive influence on my creativity.    But of course I am also inspired, encouraged and amazed by my wonderful and talented artist family (some of us are shown above) at The Rooftop Arts Centre in Corby.
